About the Role
SDI Services is hiring a Safety Director to lead company-wide safety programs across solar, drilling, and construction operations. This senior role oversees compliance, training, audits, and risk management while building a proactive culture of safety at all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage SDI’s corporate safety program
- Conduct inspections, audits, and employee training
- Ensure OSHA and ISN compliance and reporting
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective measures
- Serve as liaison with regulatory agencies and insurance carriers
- Maintain safety documentation and communication processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of safety leadership experience (construction or industrial sectors)
- OSHA 30 certification required; CSP or equivalent preferred
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and risk management
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Willingness to travel to job sites as needed
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
