About the Role
Lead solar PV projects from construction handoff through closeout. You'll manage schedules, budgets, field teams, and client relationships across multiple sites simultaneously: keeping projects on time, on budget, and built to last.
What You'll Do
- Serve as central point person for assigned projects: manage contracts, communication, reporting, schedules, budgets, change orders, risk, document control, meetings, meeting minutes, lessons learned tracking, and closeout
- Plan, direct, supervise, and control technical, fiscal, and administrative functions; determine staffing needs and hours required for completion
- Obtain, analyze, and prepare technical and contractual documentation including reports, notices, and change orders for clients and project management
- Manage schedules, budgets, and material logistics; coordinate with procurement and subcontract personnel for seamless office-to-field coordination
- Support customer relationships at professional and technical levels, including questions, evaluation requirements, and system design
- Set goals for field management, subcontractors, and vendors; motivate and manage performance, productivity, and work quality to complete projects on time
- Coordinate material and equipment delivery to optimize efficiency and prevent production impacts or additional costs
- Implement and enforce company policies, contractual requirements, safety standards, and installation best practices
- Attend site walks and pre-construction planning meetings
What You'll Need
Education & Experience
- 4-year degree in Construction or related field from accredited university, OR minimum 7 years' experience or equivalent combination
Technical Skills
- Proficient reading construction plans, specifications, and contract language
- Professional written communication (emails, letters, reports)
- MS Project scheduling; MS Excel (costing, dashboards, technical reporting); MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Attention to detail, dependability, strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work flexible hours in dynamic environments with minimal supervision
- Disciplined, self-motivated work style with strong leadership capabilities
- Understanding of drilling and solar pile equipment and techniques
- Strong communication, client service skills, and visual problem-solving abilities
Required Certifications
- Valid driver's license, proof of citizenship, OSHA 30 HR
- CPR/First Aid/AED (may obtain as required)
Nice to Haves
- Spectrum and Procore experience
- PMP certification
